TJHSST ’89 – 30th Reunion
Mark your calendars and make your plans! The 30th reunion for TJHSST ’89 will take place over the weekend of September 27-28, 2019.
Friday September 27
5:00-7:00 PM: Pre-Game BBQ Tailgate hosted by the TJ Partnership Fund at TJHSST, 6560 Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA
7:00 PM: Homecoming Football Game, TJHSST Stadium (Admission $5, pay at the gate)
Late Evening: Post-Game Bar Gathering (Pay for your own food/beverages) at The Foxfire Grill, 6550 Little River Turnpike, Alexandria, VA 22312
Saturday September 28
Morning: Enjoy breakfast/brunch/lunch on your own or gather with friends
Afternoon: Visit TJHSST
1:00 PM Arrival and Check In, please enter the school from the front doors in the dome
1:30-3:00 PM Alumni Program in the Auditorium, Re-dedication of TJHSS&T sculpture, and Group Photo
3:00-4:00 PM Reception with light refreshments hosted by the TJ Partnership Fund
3:00-4:30 PM Student-Led Tours of Building sponsored by the TJ Partnership Fund
Evening
6:30 PM Sharp (!) Party Bus Departure: The Party Bus departs Key Bridge Marriott for our DC evening events (beverages included). For those who wish to gather before boarding, join us at the hotel bar starting at 5:30 PM.
7:00-7:45 PM Photo at Jefferson Memorial: transportation via party bus, passing some key DC sights on the way to dinner
8:15 PM Reunion Dinner: Join us at Saint Yves nightclub for cocktails and buffet dinner to mingle and socialize with classmates and friends. 3 course dinner and 2 drinks included. Dress Business Casual.

Post-Dinner: Buses will be returning guests to the hotel from 9:45-11:00 PM, people may also choose to stay at Saint Yves (which turns into a public nightclub after our dinner - we will have free admission) and lyft/uber on their own

Mid-Day Family Picnic: Join other alumni and their families for a BYO picnic. Picnic Area #1 at Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield, VA. The picnic area is reserved all day. Largest attendance is expected between 11 AM and 2 PM.
Reunion Hotel
The Key Bridge Marriott is holding 40 standard rooms at $109/night for Friday and Saturday nights the 27th and 28th. When booking, guests should call and refer to “Jefferson 30th Reunion.” The rooms will be held until August 30th. Anyone booking after that date can request the special rate, however, room availability is not guaranteed.

Main ticket is for Saturday evening Dinner/Party Bus Event. Please purchase by July 31st if at all possible - it helps your classmates planning the event to know how many buses and how much food to order. Please also “purchase" the free tickets (Cost $0) for the two Friday events if you plan to attend so we can get an accurate headcount for planning these events.
